Very rare opportunity for a growing Field Service Engineer to work for a market leading business specialising in the construction of machinery and automated lines for packing, palletizing and handling for manufacturing and logistics companies. Headquartered in Spain, they design, develop and produce customized solutions and turnkey projects worldwide.
If you are looking for a dynamic role to work in commissioning industrial solutions, then this is for you.
Role Objective
To service existing equipment, troubleshooting and repair or recovering from failures and
upgrade the equipment when necessary. Field Service Engineer to follow up and assist on the Projects Start-up and Commissioning, focusing on mechanical and electrical stuff and supporting all kinds of automation activities and following the indications established by the Technical Office and/or Project Manager, and providing the maximum added value in the performance of the tasks.
Key Duties:

Electrical schematics interpretation
Millwrighting and mechanical tasks such as machine positioning, mounting and start up.
Machine/equipment diagnostics.
Safety checks and procedures.
Machine and equipment fine tuning to ensure expected performance.
Machine and equipment troubleshooting.
Write servicing reports with customers and reporting back to Tavil's supervisors or managers.
Communications skills and abilities to deal with customer for after sales/service assistance.
Leadership capabilities to lead and manage a team of electrical and mechanical contractors on the field
PLC login for diagnostics and troubleshooting, supported by Automation Engineer

Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years in a similar role in manufacturing/warehousing/logistics within a fast-moving environment.
Tertiary education in Engineering: Automation, Electronics or Industrial
Mechanical designs, and Mechanical skills and abilities.
Electrical and pneumatic schematics, and Electrical skills and abilities
Basic PLC programming in ladder and valuable in structured language.

Salary and Work Rights
$100K - $110K + 11.5% Super + up to $3000 in relocation expense (one time)
Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents only
