JOB DESCRIPTION
About the Role
Team Global Express is currently seeking a HC Truck Driver to commence immediately at our Innisfail Location. This is a Full Time Permanent Position, where you will have the opportunity to deliver freight and play a key part in servicing our major clients and customers throughout the Region.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
This is a Full Time Permanent role, 7.6 hours x 5 Days a week (7am Starts)
Overtime is available and will be offered on a need by need basis
Weekend Work is also available with this role and will be offered on a need by need basis
You must hold a current HC licence (or higher). You must also be able to drive a combination of Automatic and Manual Heavy Vehicles
Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently
Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes
Complete deliveries and pick ups promptly and according to time frames
Restraining loads safely as well as the correct use of straps and chains where required
Experience operating Prime Movers and trailers with ambient & temperature-controlled freight
Loading and unloading pallets as required - some pallet jack use will be necessary
Keeping trucks in a clean and maintainable condition, whilst also keeping the yard and your personal work area tidy
Must be able to complete your own vehicle pre-start checks
Please Note: There is no set allocation of trucks in this position
