About the role
Team Global Express is seeking a MR Driver to commence immediately at our Brisbane Airport Depot
This is a Full Time Permanent Role, Monday to Friday, 12am (Midnight) to 8am
The successful candidate will be offered Shift Loading on top of their Base Hourly Rate
Complete shuttle runs promptly between multiple Team Global Express sites located within the Brisbane Airport Precinct
Operate an MR Truck equipped with a Roller Bed and transport freight between our Loading Dock and our Depot
You must hold a current MR license (or higher).
Unload and load vehicles using a Forklift and sort them appropriately and safely
Ensuring the correct movement and distribution of freight in a timely manner.
Identifying damages and reporting in accordance with site process
Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently
Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes
Restraining loads safely as well as the correct use of straps and chains where required
Keeping trucks in a clean and maintainable condition, whilst also keeping the yard and your personal work area tidy
Must be able to complete your own vehicle pre-start checks
Please Note: There is no set allocation of trucks in this position
What you’ll bring
You will hold a Valid MR Licence & Forklift Licence
Experience operating a Truck with a Roller Bed System is preferred but not mandatory
You must have excellent time management and the ability to move freight in a safe & timely manner
You must have Full Rights to work in Australia
You must have a high attention towards Safety
