About the role

  • This opening is for a Receptionist to join our team in Karawatha on Brisbane’s South Side

  • This is a Full time, Permanent Role. The working hours for this role are 8:00 – 16:00.

  • Answer and re-direct all incoming calls in a timely, efficient and professional manner.

  • Greet all visitors professionally and courteously, ensuring visitors are instructed on the required safety and sign in procedures before they proceed any further into the Facility.

  • Ensure that relevant employees of the Karawatha Facility are promptly made aware of any visitor arrivals.

  • Ensure that the image of the reception area and meeting rooms are impeccable at all times.

  • Receive and sort all incoming mail, ready for department or individual collection as required.

  • Ensure all outgoing mail is correctly stamped before posting.

  • Ensure the internal phone directory is kept up to date.

  • Assist where required with set up and booking of meeting rooms within the Facility.

  • Assist with any other ad hoc duties as set out by the manager

  • The ability to prioritise tasks efficiently

  • A strong attention to safety

  • Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not mandatory)
