Job Title: Civil Development Engineer Overview: Work for one of the largest residential development companies in Canberra, in an exciting role that will see you working with project teams to successfully deliver new residential developments. This opportunity is offering an Immediate start in a full-time position. My client is offering a competitive remuneration package with extra benefits and free parking. Responsibilities:
Assist Project Directors and Development Managers on exciting new projects across the ACT.
Review and assess tenders and provide recommendations to Senior Management.
Liaise with stakeholders and subcontractors during initial construction phase.
Assist in the preparation of project budgets and programmes.
Liaise with government agencies during the construction phase.
Ensure WHS legislation and regulations are adhered to and liaise with sub-contractors and other stockholders that are engaged on behalf of the client
Attend regular construction meeting and coordinate construction activities with Senior Management.
Review engineering designs for construction and provide insights on future projects.
About the successful candidate:
The successful Civil Development Engineer will posses sound knowledge of legislation and industry requirements.
You will need to have worked in a similar role or as a Project Manager/Project Engineer on large residential developments or Subdivision experience for more than 5 years.
You will possess strong analytic and statistical skills that will allow you to make informed decisions and provide valuable insights on future projects.
Possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Prior Estimation or Tendering experience highly regarded.
Experience with Project Management Software (MS Projects, Procore or JobPac)
Qualifications:
Degree In Civil Engineering
Construction Management Qualification
Degree in Engineering Project Management
Other relevant experience
