Recruitment 24/7 has a vacancy for a CNC Machine Operator for our Manufacturing/Engineering client based in Ipswich.
This role is ongoing, working a 38-hour week Monday to Friday between the hours of 5:30 am to 2:00 pm. This role commences as an ongoing casual position for 3 months, with a potential permanent position to be offered after this time.
The operator will join a ream running out clients 2 x CNC Router Machines. These machines process both Aluminium Extrusion and Sheet, as well as Steel Channel & RHS. The parts are then supplied to the sub-assembly departments for fabrication.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Load CNC programs.
Monitor machines for cut quality.
Load and unload materials.
Preventative maintenance.
Update progress on production status board and spreadsheet.
Manage waste recycling.
Identify and label parts produced.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Forklift licence.
A great attention to detail.
A willingness to learn
Be customer focused.
