Berton Vineyards is now looking for an experienced Horticultural Machinery Supervisor to join their team.
The right candidate will be responsible for:
Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure the team's efficiency and productivity.
Foster a safe and positive working environment.
Oversee the operation of machinery to ensure it is functioning correctly.
Monitor equipment performance and identify any issues that may affect production.
Collaborate with operators to optimize machinery settings for efficiency.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair activities for machinery.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, collaborating with maintenance teams.
Ensure that machinery is operating within specified quality standards.
Implement and monitor quality control procedures related to machinery operation.
Address and rectify any issues affecting product quality.
About you
At least 2 years of experience as a Horticultural Machinery Supervisor;
In-depth knowledge of the machinery and equipment used;
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues
Strong communications skills;
Ability to work unsupervised;
