Position: Aged & Disability Care Worker
Salary: $70,000 to $75,000 plus 11% super
Hours: 38 hours
Mode: Full time
Location: Suite 7/200 Sydney Rd, Brunswick VIC 3056
Experience required: Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant roles

We are looking for Aged & Disability Care Workers to join our team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Providing support and companionship to elderly and disabled individuals as they engage in their daily tasks and activities, ensuring their well-being and ease of participation.
• Aiding individuals in enhancing their ability to move and navigate, encompassing various forms of support to promote and improve their overall mobility.
• Creating meals for individuals, taking into consideration their specific preferences and dietary needs, as part of the caregiving or culinary service provided.
• Organizing and coordinating communal events or gatherings, fostering social interactions and engagement among individuals in a given community or group.
• Conducting domestic chores, including tasks like vacuuming and tidying up, to maintain a clean and orderly living environment for individuals or households.
• Providing support in maintaining personal hygiene and assisting with dressing, ensuring individuals' comfort and well-being in their daily routines.
• Offering companionship, fostering friendship, and providing emotional support to individuals, thereby promoting their overall well-being and mental health.
• Engaging in shopping activities and completing necessary tasks on behalf of someone, such as running errands, to assist them in managing their daily responsibilities and ensuring their needs are met.
• Possibly residing together with the individual, sharing a living space to provide continuous support and companionship, ensuring immediate assistance and care as needed.
Qualifications:
• Minimum qualifications AQF Certificate III, or at least one year of relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 4)
Other skills and requirements:
• Must be qualified and competent in all aspects.
• At least 2 years of experience as an Aged & Disability Care Worker.
• A friendly personality and positive attitude, be a team player.
• Well-groomed and well presented.
• Excellent communication skills including English language skills.
• Must have a valid visa with full work rights.
• Prepared for immediate start and to in live in Victoria.
• To be a reliable person with good references.
