Dewatering Technician

The Role
The dewatering technician will be responsible for a wide variety of key activities that include the
below.
• Site Activities: Site activities will include the installation of bore pump systems, open pit
dewatering systems, underground dewatering pump systems and HDPE pipelines. To carry
out these activities the applicant will be working as part of a 2 – 3 man team.
• Project Management/Job Organisation: Part of the job role will be to manage the day to
day works that are undertaken by the branch. To facilitate this the applicant will be required
to schedule jobs, manage small projects that are not directly managed by the project team,
liaise with the procurement officer to procure materials for site, coordinate deliveries to
site, be the key client contact etc.
The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess experience in the installation and maintenance
of the below:
• Bore Pump Systems.
• Open Cut & Underground Dewatering Pump Sets
• HDPE Pipelines
• Water Transfer Pump Systems
Although not essential criteria, candidates that possess the following qualifications or trades are
encouraged to apply:
• Tradesmen: Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechanical
• Project Management: Tertiary, Diploma or Cert
• Tickets/Licenses: Poly welding, HR Licence, Telehandler, Skid Steer, IT, Dogman. Please
note that if the required tickets to carry out the above-mentioned works are not held,
Greenlands Equipment are willing to compensate the candidate to obtain these
tickets/licenses.

• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Has a commitment to a safety conscious work environment.
• Is willing to live in a remote town in the West Australian Goldfields.
• Is willing to undertake tasks outside of the job role where workload permits.
• Has the willingness to work as a team and to integrate into the companies great culture.
• Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks.
• Is a problem solver that possess initiative & has a positive attitude that is solutions driven. A
“Can Do” attitude is imperative.
• Has a desire for ongoing work that is driven to advance their career.
Package
Depending on the candidates work experience, especially in relation to the construction of mine
water management systems, the following remuneration details will be;
• Annual Salary or hourly rate + Superannuation
• Company Vehicle
• Business Tools, Computer & Phone
• + Standard Leave Entitlements, Holiday & Sick Leave
• Living quarters.
Additional:
The company may support successful candidates for an Australian Permanent Residency if meets the
requirements under the company policy and management.
