Ms Frankie Carlton is now looking for a talented Chef to join their team
The right candidate will be responsible for:
Prepare and cook soups, meats, gravies, vegetables, desserts, salads, etc;
Train new staff members on preparations, cooking procedures and plating;
Deal with suppliers for stock ordering and returns;
Create new menus with restaurant managers;
Manage all the operations of the kitchen;
Maintain the kitchen clean and safe at all time;
Assist other chefs and cooks with meat and fish preparations;
Rotate and label stock in fridges and freezers;
Assist the Head Chef with food orders, returns and menu planning;
Manage and assist cooks and chefs with cooking procedures and presentations;
About you:
At least 2 years of experience as a Chef;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work unsupervised;
Ability to manage your section and help where needed;
Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine;
Job type: Permanent/full-time
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
