Acu-Tech, a nationwide leader in the manufacture and supply of polyethylene pipe, products and services, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team.
This role will be integral to maintaining cost control over our expansion projects in Queensland and Western Australia, as well as general accounting activities. You will be joining a an establish team of professional and reporting into our Chief Finance Officer/Director.
Responsibilities of the role includes but are not limited to:
• Preparing and drafting finance policies and budgets
• Preparing financial statements on each expansion project with explanations for audits, investigations, results and recommendations
• Monitoring project and operational purchase orders, expenditure and adhoc costs
• Preparing bill of materials and invoicing for Fabrication projects, and advising on cost blowouts
• Assisting in BAS preparation and projects cost control reporting
• Overseeing and reporting on invoicing activities and communicating issues with aged debtors
• Ensuring compliance with Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery policies

Requirements to be successful:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role and responsibilities
• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance
• Exposure to a manufacturing work environment
• A team player with a can do attitude
