Care Services Employee (CSE):

NVC Group is currently seeking dedicated and experienced individuals to join our compassionate team as Care Services Employees. Multiple full-time positions are available at our facilities located in Nambucca Heads, Macksville, and Kempsey. Successful candidates will be subject to employment conditions outlined in the NVC, NSWNMA, and HSU NSW Enterprise Agreement 2023.
An attractive hourly rate of CSE level 3 $31.31 per hour, plus applicable shift penalties and salary packaging options.
Responsibilities:
• Uphold the high standards of care aligned with NVC's philosophy.
• Provide assistance to residents with personal care needs, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised care plans.
• Implement interventions for residents with dementia and behavioral challenges.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, maintaining accurate documentation.
• Dispense pre-packaged medications in accordance with medication competency guidelines.
• Demonstrate commitment to teamwork and a multi-disciplinary approach.
Selection Criteria:
Essential:
• Certificate III in Aged Care (including medication competency) or equivalent qualification.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with person-centered care principles.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a supportive attitude towards residents and their families.
• Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunities, Work Health & Safety, and Infection Control Standards and Regulations.
• Dedication to ongoing professional development and education.
• Willingness to participate in a 7-day rotating roster.
Desirable:
• Understanding of quality improvement processes, Accreditation, and AN-ACC.
• Certificate IV in Aged Care (including medication).
