We’re looking for a passionate full-time OT to join our Skilled Health family and deliver the quality client supports we are known for.

Your New Role

As an OT, your day could include:

· Managing a diverse, sustainable caseload that complements your strengths and provides you with opportunities to continue to grow and develop your skills. This includes traveling to client therapy sessions, assessing needs, designing and running therapy programs, advocating on their behalf, educating and recommending treatment options, documenting case notes and report writing

· Liaising with support co-ordinators, local area co-ordinators, carers/family members, equipment providers, medical practitioners and community groups

· Ensuring consistent, high quality service delivery within timeframes

· Collaborating with the broader multi-disciplinary Skilled Health team.

About You

Essential:

· Passionate about making a difference with a focus on quality

· Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy

· Demonstrated ability to undertake assessments, recommendations and therapy in line with NDIS or therapeutic plans and experience in capacity building supports with NDIS participants

· Effective time management and ability to proactively manage own workload to meet performance targets and strategic initiatives

· Proven ability to make rational and sound decisions and judgements based on a consideration of facts and alternative outcomes

· Demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality outcomes for clients

· Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations

· Demonstrated ability to work well as a part of a team and follow direction as required

· Own car, comprehensive insurance with current, clear, valid driver’s licence

· Evidence of current relevant registrations (e.g. AHPRA) and COVID-19 vaccinations.

Desired:

· Working with Children Check

· Criminal History Check with no serious criminal convictions

· Right to work in Australia

· NDIS Worker Screening Check

· Current First-Aid certification.
