SYS ADMIN | PERM | BRISBANE CBD Your new company Hays Technology is partnered with an Australian Agricultural Organisation to appoint an experienced System Administrator. This role is a permanent opportunity based in the Brisbane CBD. Your new role Reporting to the IT Manager, you'll work with the existing team to support the organisation's IT environment and upcoming projects across their many offices. Based in Brisbane, there will be a requirement for planned travel throughout Australia. You'll also be responsible for mentoring and supervising a small helpdesk team. Some of your general day to day will include:
Administration and maintenance of Windows Domain Environments, Windows Server and Windows 10/11
Network management of routers, switches, firewalls, printers, workstation and server hardware
Microsoft 365 Administration (Office 365, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, MS Teams)
Data backup and restore - Veeam
Security
What you'll need to succeed Ideally, you'll have 5+ years experience as a System Administrator within medium to large corporate environments as well as:
Network configuration and management - Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti
M365 Suite
File Sync, Veeam
Cloud technologies - Azure, AWS
End to end project management
3rd level support
