Reporting to the Portfolio General Manager, you will be part of the leadership team and manage engineering function with a hands on approach.
Keys duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure compliance standards are met in aspects of building, equipment, energy consumption, water, contractors, environmental and other brand programs.
- Proactively review hotel products, carry out maintenance and general repairs to ensure the smooth operation of all hotel departments
- Contractor Management
- Be actively involved in the Health & Safety of our guests and our team members
- Manage capital expenditure projects
- Develop and implement effective strategies and solutions to improve energy management, water management and conservation
- Drive Team Member Engagement and promote a positive team culture
