SGS has a great opportunity for a Chemist to join the team at our laboratory in Kalgoorlie.
Duties include however, not limited to:
- Understanding of the processes in the preparation and analysis of samples by AAS , pXRF , XRF, ICP-OES and MS.
- Validation of Methods for ICP-OES / MS, AAS, XRF and pXRF
- Training of Laboratory staff on analytiucal instruments.
- Understanding of assay methods and recognition of sample types.
- All functions to be performed in correct numerical order, while adopting QC requirements and avoiding potential contamination.
- Complete QC and process paperwork adequately.
