We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Laboratory Assistants to join our Alexandria, NSW team on a casual basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our sample preparation section, where you will prepare and analyse soil, water, and air samples. #NSWJobsConnect
Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:
- Conduct routine sample preparations for soil, water, and air analyses, including the handling of acids, solvents, and other reagents.
- Ensure timely completion of work, adhering to due dates.
- Comply with analytical methods and maintain quality management systems.
- Prepare standards and reagents.
- Perform sample analysis and accurately record data and results.
- Assist chemists and supervisors with various tasks, such as instrument loading and waste disposal.
- Adhere to all SGS QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) and HR policies and procedures.
