As a Breakfast and Cafe Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the full operations of the kitchen, with a primary focus on running the breakfast shift and preparing food for our cafe and all-day dining menu. This role is ideal for an experienced Demi Chef or Breakfast Chef ready to take on a leadership position.
This role is a hands on role running the breakfast buffet and preparing food for Distrikt Press Cafe and All Day Dining menu and some adhoc dinners when needed. This is a Part Time role and hours / days can be negotiated for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the kitchen team providing training and support.
- Ensure the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and quality are maintained.
- Take charge of ordering, inventory management, and maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality and timely delivery of ingredients.
- Create and implement kitchen policies and procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Work with the General Manager & Portfolio Director of Food and Beverage to provide a menu that our guests will love and come back for again and again.
