Reporting to the Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will be responsible for confidently conversing with our guests, explaining the menu and beverage options, assisting with dietary requirements, and up selling where possible. You'll also be a strong team player, working well with other colleagues on the floor and with our kitchen team, to ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive service. Most importantly, you'll have a warm and engaging personality that ensures that The Quartier Bistro & Bar becomes a neighbourhood favourite. Your duties will include:
- Ensuring that dockets are written clearly and correctly so the cashier and kitchen can fulfill their duties effectively.
- Keeping tables and service areas clean and tidy as per procedure manual.
- Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service.
- Promptly answer the telephone and maximize sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling.
- Take responsibility for your designated section and station.
