A new opportunity to join the Project Management Office (PMO) have become available within the National Finance and Administration Department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This is an 18-month fixed term contract.
As a Specialist within the PMO, you will support and assist the Project Management Office (PMO) in the successful planning, execution, and completion of work across numerous PMO streams. You will play a crucial role in developing training resources, coordinating activities and meetings, ensuring effective communication among team members and stakeholders, and monitoring the project progress.
What does the role look like?
- Facilitating and organising training sessions for project leads on the project management concepts, processes and deliverables
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among key stakeholders and project teams through memos, work instructions, and formal proposal submissions
- Ensure department documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible
- Contribute to the development and improvement of project management processes, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement
- Track project and department progress to identify potential risks or delays, providing updates to stakeholders through generating status reports
- Support project teams with the creation of project plans, defining project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements including coordination and allocation of project resources
- Support the Executive Manager as required with general administrative duties
