- Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the hotel, including plumbing, painting, plastering and carpentry repairs.
- Respond promptly to guests requests for repairs or maintenance issues in guest rooms or common areas.
- Conduct inspections of hotel facilities to identify and address any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Be able to communicate clearly over the two-way .
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Fix door locks, room safes, room A/Cs, sand pumping, laundry issues and other maintenance issues
Requirements
- Proven experience as a handyperson, maintenance technician, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques.
- Ability to troubeshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Excellent comminication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to priortize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and climbing.
- Able to deal with guests, at a high level of customer service standard.
- Capable and trust worthy enough to work alone.
