The JP2060 Ph4 program is introducing a complex health knowledge management system operated by Defence in garrison and deployed environments. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to manage a team of systems, software, V&V and ILS engineers to design, build and deliver an enterprise data integration and management platform within the JP2060 domain.
As the Engineering Manager you will report into the Program Director for JP2060 Ph4. Managing the design, implementation and delivery of high-quality solutions, you will lead teams that will deliver first-rate sustainment services to Defence. Your leadership and governance of the project engineering team will require you to plan and manage the technical design, establishing and maintaining baselines and leading formal and informal engineering reviews.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan and control the technical effort to delivery against the Contract.
- Manage the satisfaction of the Customer Description of Requirements to acknowledge technical, enterprise, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Plan and manage the engineering lifecycle to ensure the Mission and Support Systems are fit for purpose.
- Monitor subcontractor and team performance against the technical plan and use your experience working in Defence environments to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders internally, with suppliers and across the customer organisation and provide guidance to ensure complex interface definition problems are efficiently managed to resolution.
- Work with the Program Director and team leads to manage risk and ensure successful program delivery.
- Mentor the engineering team to enable them to meet the technical requirements of the project.
