Viva Energy is in the midst of one of the biggest transformations our business has seen. The Viva Energy Retail team is working to build Australia’s largest Convenience Retailer - with an expansive footprint, an amazing customer offer and a highly engaged team. 

This role delivers across the breadth of organisational development and employee experience, enabling the delivery of our business and people strategy. This is an exciting role which finds the balance between delivering organisational development needs of the business we have today and supporting key projects which will set our future business up for success. You will lead our day-to-day organisational development portfolio, whilst working closely with our Organisational Development Manager on projects such as building our Viva Energy Retail EVP and refreshing policy relevant to our retail business.   

Your will have the opportunity to:  

  • Progress our D&I agenda, enabling delivery of our VER D&I action plans and project managing WGEA Employer of Choice Citation requirements. Recommending policy enhancements or implementing new policy as required.  

  • Lead Viva Energy Retails engagement initiatives, including collaborating with our Group Employee Experience team for the annual ‘Your Voice’ survey and owning VER pulse surveys. You will dive deep on the results from surveys, reviewing feedback and proposing focus areas and initiatives to maintain or improve our employee engagement.   

  • Lead ‘Careers in Viva Energy Retail’, including supporting cross business talent movement.  

  • Support our annual talent and succession practices.  

  • Provide VER input to external reporting such as our sustainability or annual reports.  

  • Work on project such as:  

  • Acting as a subject matter expert for our Strategic HRIS project, providing input and expertise into the Performance and Talent modules.  

  • Tailoring our Employee Value Proposition to VER and providing thought leadership on components of our EVP which will attract and retain our talent.
