We provide the technology solutions that enable TAL to offer high quality insurance products and services to our customers and partners including the delivery of core business processes that support our customers when they need us most.
We are organised into Platform delivery teams using agile/continuous delivery mindsets and practises to deliver new and improved technology solutions all elements of the customer / product lifecycle from purchasing a product, ongoing servicing through to the management of claims.
About the Opportunity
This position will have responsibility for designing and developing the front end of TAL’s digital assets today and in the future. You will work alongside multiple development teams to deliver robust digital solutions. You will also be required to work with TAL’s UX design teams.
Your primary role is to contribute to the design and development of high quality solutions meeting the needs of customers and other stakeholders of the Retail Platform. You will be responsible for the analysis, development and delivery of applications in .NET languages and front end frameworks including C#, ASP.NET, React and AngularJS in Client Server and n-tier applications using a number of established patterns and practices at presentation, application and data layers. You will also contribute to the strong culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement and innovation by proactively identifying and driving continous improvement in your own practises and those of the team.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Architecting the front-end solution for a variety of projects including CMS implementations, HTML template development and tools.
- Acting as the conduit between business, technology and creative
- Delivering solutions to complex problems and produce high quality code
- Collaborating with development and design teams
