The Opportunity
Come and discover the opportunity to join our Lysaght business in our Production team as an experienced Loader. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.
Based at our brand-new site at Hume, with all new facilities for you to enjoy, our Loaders play a vital role in our production environment. You’ll be operating our new Combilift multidirectional forklift with pedestrian safety installed. You’ll be working with a fun and friendly team to unload and load our products when they are delivered to us, and when despatched to our valued customers. There’ll also be some general warehousing duties to give the day variety.
This is a full-time permanent night shift opportunity (shift allowance applies) working hours from 1.00pm – 9.00pm. You’ll have the opportunity for overtime, plus we can offer a competitive package including additional superannuation and incentive payments.
What Will You Do?
This diverse role will offer you variety each day, providing you with scope to showcase your skills that impacts the safety of our people as well as the quality of our products, you will be:
- loading and unloading material on and off trucks
- assemble necessary truck loading papers based on trip sheet from transportation.
- follow all safety rules and regulations to include good housekeeping.

Being a reliable and dedicated individual with a willingness to learn and develop yourself, you will also bring:
- exposure or interest in, working in a manufacturing environment
- expertise in driving a forklift -holding a current Forklift license is ideal
- a positive attitude and a keen eye for detail
- the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- a commitment to your own safety and wellbeing and care for others
