The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Metalcorp business in our Northgate team as a Warehouse and Customer Service Team Member. Metalcorp is a leading rural Australian steel distributor, supplying brands for the land through our branches and stockists across Australia.

This exciting dual role promises something new every day. Not only will you operate a forklift to load and unload products to prepare customer orders and assist with general warehouse duties, you’ll also have direct contact with our customers over the phone and face to face.

This is a day shift position (7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday) which will support your external family and lifestyle commitments.

What Will You Do?

In this hands-on and varied role where you will learn and be responsible for receiving and storing materials, assembling and loading orders, and dispatch duties, you will also:

  • coordinate customer orders, quotes and enquiries via face to face, online and over the phone
  • safely load and unloading of trucks and customer pickups
  • operate forklifts, cranes and other machine processing equipment
  • be responsible for the safety of yourself and your co-workers
  • ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through your service levels
