The purpose of this role will be to welcome guests and make them feel they belong in our hotel. You will do this by:
- To greet all guests as they arrive and depart the Hotel.
- To use the Guest name at all times (once known).
- Carry guest luggage as required.
- Escort guests to rooms.
- Explain room and hotel facilities to guests and answer any questions.
- Deliver messages to guest rooms.
- Regular checks of the foyer, cleaning ashtrays and tables.
- Ensure the Foyer area, including entry/exit doors, remains clean and presentable at all times.
- To have a thorough knowledge of all facilities and operating hours in the hotel.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the hotels outlets, current events and local area.
