Aquila Mine has multiple Development Electrician roles available at our underground coal mine based in Middlemount, QLD. You will work with our industry-leading remotely operated autonomous longwall technology, where our Aquila Mine won the Outstanding Mine Performance category at the 2023 Australian Mining Prospect Awards.
The mine features two longwall systems (walk on, walk off) ensuring production continuity. Both longwalls are fully remote capable from the site-based Remote Operations Centre (ROC) on the surface of the mine.
The Development Electrician is responsible for completing all development panel maintenance tasks safely and efficiently and to assist Aquila Mine in achieving its goal of zero harm, maximising production output and minimising production costs. You will be required to complete development maintenance duties to ensure the team safely meets production targets in accordance with the annual mine plan.
