We are looking for a qualified and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen brigade. Must have a love for food, be able to produce a consistent product, thrive in a busy environment and have great communication and organisational skills. You will be responsible supporting the Executive Chef in our restaurant and conferencing kitchens, delivering consistently high-quality food across our property.
- Assist managing & supervising all aspects of kitchen including chefs and cooks.
- Prepare meals and assist in smooth running of the kitchen;
- Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory;
- Assist with menu planning and seasonal menu changes;
- Assist with management of kitchen and team;
- Quality control and assurance;
- Maintaining OH&S and hygiene standards;
- Assist in training where required and skilled to do so.
