The Role Reporting into the Team Lead, the Technical Services Officer plays a pivotal role in providing technical service support across our network. Responsibilities include the installation and configuration of hardware and software, analyses and rectification of faults, logs, and issues. The position also assists in planning and executing projects such as migrations, upgrades, and relocation's, ensuring smooth transitions for our systems. Keeping up-to-date documentation on infrastructure, applications, and assets will also be a crucial aspect of your role. About you We're seeking individuals with highly developed technical and interpersonal skills, capable of hitting the ground running across the following key aspects of the position: - Provision of quality and effective technical support to users on site and via phone. Installation and maintenance of laptops, desktops, and printers across a growing network. L1 support of IT related incidents and requests via incident management system. User creation and management via Active Directory. Effective communication with both technical and non-technical team members is a must, coupled with exceptional customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
