Job tasks and responsibilities:
Suitable candidates will be able to obtain and further gain experience in Industrial and Commercial Electrical installation in the following areas which will include Breakdowns, Scheduled Maintenance, After Hour Call-out and Service:
Generators, Processing Plant, Crushing Plants, Welders, Portable Industrial Machinery, Workshop Machine Tools, Control Systems, Distribution Networks and Coal Lab Equipment.
Compliancing for: BMA, Peabody, Glencore and Anglo.
Daily duties: Timekeeping and Management, Job Scheduling, Parts and Drawing Interpretation, Email and Reporting.

Skills and experience:
The ability to obtain a QLD Electrical Mechanic qualification.
Will be required to obtain a restricted licence within 90 days of commencement of employment.
This will involve being able to gain the ability to to design, assemble, test, commission, maintain and repair electrical networks, systems, circuits, equipment, components, appliances and facilities.
Ability to gain knowledge to service and repair lifts, escalators and related equipment.
Ability to gain the knowledge to read wiring diagrams, scoping up the task requirements through the ability to use electronic test equipment and faulty finding.
The ability to obtain a Current LVR/ CPR Certification
Good communication skills - you will be required to liaise directly with customers.
Computer literate - email and MS Office
The ability to obtain a Open Class C driver's licence for manual vehicles
The ability to obtain a Cabling Data Licence (favourable but not a requirement)
