Position: Cook (ANZSCO 351411)
Salary: $70,000 + 11% Superannuation
Location: Aromas on Sea, Terrigal, NSW
Beautiful Cafe/Restaurant situated by the beach is now seeking a full-time Cook to join their team. The views are stunning and will have you thinking you have landed somewhere in the Mediterranean. The venue has earned a reputation for outstanding coffee, exceptional food and distinctly warm inviting atmosphere. An authentic menu of casual beach-side cuisine that combines international expertise with fresh, local produce.
Responsibilities of Role:
-Examine foodstuffs to ensure quality.
-Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment.
-Preparing and cooking food
-Seasoning food during cooking
-Portioning food, place it on plates and add gravies, sauces and garnishes.
-Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities
-Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
-May plan menus and estimate food requirements
-May train other kitchen staff and apprentices
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Relevant Qualification
- Prior experience in a similar role/setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for cooking
