The Centre

A fun and vibrant 40 place childcare centre located in Guildford is looking for an ECT qualified Assistant Centre Manager to join and support their team of dedicated educators! The centre focuses on age-appropriate, play-based learning programs allowing children to develop their confidence and personality.

The Role

Your role will be as the Assistant Director of the Childcare service and you will be responsible to:


Work with and alongside the Centre Director to manage the daily responsibilities of running and maintaining a busy childcare service
Motivate and lead a team of educators to achieve high-quality care for all children within the service
Adhere to NQS as well as company policies and procedures to achieve a rating or meeting or exceeding in A&R
Develop and maintain relationships with families and members of the community to maintain/increase the centre's occupancy

About you

To be successful in this position you must have:

A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA approved equivalent
Prior experience as an Assistant Director
A strong understanding of the EYLF and NQF
A current Working with Children's Check
Current first-aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
