About the Position ALS Coal Technology at Riverview currently has an opportunity available for a Forklift Operator and Coal Quality Technician.  At Coal Technology our focus is on the evaluation of metallurgical coal for steelmaking and thermal coals for power generation. The site operates both Pilot and small-scale coke ovens, in addition to a Boiler Simulator Furnace that evaluates coal-fired combustion performance. Forklift Operator and Coal Quality Technician is an entry-level, full-time position with the prospect of a long-term role for the right person. A remuneration package will be provided based on the skills and experience of the applicant. The focus of this role will be Forklift operations and applicants with a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail will be highly regarded.
