Our Opportunity Work Location: Northern Hub Roster: 4D/3R– residential Port Hedland We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Northern Hub Aboriginal Development team. Reporting to the Aboriginal Development Superintendent, the Coordinator’s is responsible for supporting the execution of the First Nations people strategy that aims to increase the representation, engagement, and retention of First Nations employees within our operations. The Coordinator will apply their excellent interpersonal and communication skills to proactively work with employees and leadership to positively influence relationships. The right person will have an ability to work across several teams, leaders, and sites, be flexible and adaptable to different environments and have excellent knowledge and experience in working with and empowering First Nations people. Key Responsibilities Record and track people data to drive effective decision making that supports the overall goal of engagement and retention. Develop robust relationships with operations leaders to influence outcomes to the benefit of the strategy. Maintain close relationships with the recruitment team to support the onboarding and welcoming of First Nations new starters to site.  Support and guide First Nations people and leaders to build strong and trusting relationships to support growth and development during career at Fortescue.
