What we will offer you: Commencing salary at $2,896.12 gpf with the opportunity to progress to $3,475.34 gpf superannuation Ongoing training and development opportunities Generous leave entitlements Access to Council’s Flexible Working Hours Agreement Your new role: Reporting to the Property Coordinator, this highly varied position is responsible for providing internal and external customer service and for performing administrative tasks required to complete complex land transactions as part of the Property team. The Property team is responsible for overseeing Council’s land portfolio and managing transactions relating to Council owned or controlled land. Transactions include land acquisitions, land disposals, compulsory acquisitions, leasing, licencing, road closures, management of Crown Land and Native Title matters and other dealings. Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Contribute to the management of acquisitions, disposals, compulsory acquisitions, and other property dealings; Liaise with Council’s service providers to facilitate timely completion of Council’s property dealings; Manage property leases and licenses including tenant relationships, monitoring critical dates, actioning rent reviews and lease renewals, and negotiating new agreements; Coordinate the execution of documents relating to property dealings; Prepare appropriate correspondence, reports and memorandums; Respond to internal and external enquiries relating to Council property, and Contribute to Crown Land Management and Native Title responsibilities of Council.
