Our Opportunity Role: Experienced Conveyor Condition Monitoring Technician Work Location: Anderson Point – Port Hedland Residential Roster: 8 Days on, 6 Days off Reporting to the Senior Reliability Officer – Port Engineering Key Responsibilities Online belt monitoring/inspections Liaise with other teams to target operational gaps to complete inspections Plan daily work and organise permits and isolation SIR’s Isolate equipment and conveyors Complete offline ultra-sonic thickness testing on belts Review and update computer-based conveyor monitoring systems and assist rectifying faults Report new defects and raise Notifications in SAP Update spreadsheets and systems with gathered data Run weekly belt condition meetings Enter time confirmations and teco complete work orders Attend all daily and engineering meetings as required Complete any non-routine inspection requests Liaise with shut team to ensure inspections are schedule into shutdowns Complete QA/QC inspection on skirt liner replacements and adjustments Perform detailed hand over with your back-to-back technician Qualifications and Experience Level 2 or 3 Belt Splicing trade qualification or similar Work at Heights qualifications and experience Ultrasonic NDT experience Knowledge in SAP, Excel and Microsoft office Significant experience in a fixed plant and conveyor maintenance Strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large-scale fixed plants Extensive fixed plant Isolation & shutdown experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Current…
