NEP Australia is currently looking for experienced Broadcast Engineers with exceptional drive and work ethics, excellent interpersonal skills, and brilliant technical minds to join our Australian teams in the Field and HUB.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
• Manage and monitor the mobile unit broadcast engineering operations at remote events.
• Perform preventative maintenance and trouble shooting while executing changes and engineering updates on the mobile unit.
• Perform regular cleaning and inventory checks for the mobile unit.
• Track and report on equipment and system repair and maintenance status.
• Direct the activities of crew members related to the operation of the mobile unit.
• Follow through on repairs, inventory needs, and updates.
• Provide on-site client service and technical support.
Skills Required
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a Broadcast Truck solo is essential.
• You will have a good understanding of outside broadcast workflows.
• Understanding of SMPTE 2110 is desirable.
• The ability to work under time constraints.
• VSM or TFC knowledge and experience with IP Technology is preferred.
• Well organised and can prioritise work in order of on-air importance.
• Applicants must have a positive attitude, be able to work to explicit deadlines, can pick up new concepts in a rapid manner and work closely with colleagues for long periods of time.
