Management of the Maintenance and Engineering function of the Hotel.
Protect and maintain owner asset & investment.
Ensure safety and satisfaction of guests during their stay.
Support staff to effectively and safely carry out their roles of caring for our guest
Plan and carry out preventive maintenance throughout the hotel to ensure standards are maintained for guest satisfaction.
Prioritise and carry out maintenance as requested to ensure the smooth running of all hotel departments with a view to improve supporting service levels.
Carry out general repairs and maintenance to the property.
Record & monitor all utility readings and liaise with the General Manager regarding options to improve energy / water management and conservation, including liaison with EDGE metering.
Be responsible for the maintenance & performance of the Hotels Fire Life systems on a routine basis as required by local Council authority and NSW Fire & Rescue.
Liaise with the General Manager regarding use of internal and external contractors within the hotel, controlling expenditure and ensuring work is to the standard required by the company and manufacturers specifications
