What you'll be doing…
- Performing cleaning duties within the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- General pantry duties and maintain cleanliness of pantry, fridges and freezers
- Assist in the preparation of food under the supervision of the Head Chef and Kitchen team.
- Operating the dishwashing machine, ensuring all operating equipment, crockery, cutlery & glassware is hygienically and safely stored.
- Keeping all kitchens clean and tidy according to current Health & Hygiene regulations.
- Ensuring garbage is collected and disposed of correctly from all kitchen areas each shift.
- Following the correct handling of chemicals and equipment as per manufacturers instructions.
- Contributing to cost control through energy conservation and the careful use of water, cleaning materials and other appliances.
