Hire Resolve is currently recruiting for a qualified Retail Pharmacist to join our client's team in Australia.
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper labeling and packaging
- Provide medication counseling to patients, addressing their concerns and providing relevant information on dosage, side effects, and drug interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate medication therapy and patient care
- Conduct medication reviews and participate in disease management programs
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing medications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and pharmacy documentation
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including pharmacy board regulations and standards
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns
- Stay informed about current trends and developments in pharmacy practice
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) from a reputable South African University
- Must have completed the KAPS exam
- Previous experience working as a retail pharmacist
- Excellent knowledge of medications, dosage forms, and pharmacy operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
- Ability to work well in a team and provide excellent customer service
- Knowledge of pharmacy software and technology
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environment
