The Opportunity
Come and discover the opportunity to join our Wangara team in our Fielders business as a Sales Coordinator. With a proud history starting in Adelaide, today Fielders manufactures and markets steel building products across Australia. We deliver customer-inspired outcomes that support architects, engineers, builders, installers and property owners in creating their vision.
Our customers are a mix of homeowners and builders requiring a variety of superior products and solutions that we offer. Being the face of BlueScope, you will ensure all our customers receive exceptional service. This role plays an important part in supporting our people to strengthen their capability and capacity now and into the future. You’ll lead with enthusiasm and be eager to jump in and help the team when and where the need arises.
This is a Monday to Friday role, working a 38-hour week within the trading hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm.
What Will You Do?
With an attention on the well-being and engagement of your people, you will:
- interacting with our customers via phone and email managing quotes and queries
- following up on quotations and inquiries converting these into sales opportunities
- collaborating with internal stakeholders including marketing, warehouse and sales departments to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met - including product specifications, special packaging, and delivery timetable
- nurturing and growing relationships with customers to uncover new business and sales opportunities
- continuously look at new ways of improving the customer experience and consistently improving the total value proposition
- provide internal support and regular feedback to relevant sales teams regarding customer and competitor information.
More About You
We are looking for an individual who has a process-driven mindset, administrative expertise, and a go-getter attitude. You’ll have:
- previous experience in sales coordination and/or administrative roles
- proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- strong customer focus with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- strong organisational skills and a result-driven mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding goals
- confidence in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new systems
- expertise in CRM and ERP systems would be advantageous.
