Searching for a Coal Technician to join our team on a Full time permanent basis with rotating Day/Night shift. To ensure the correct and timely preparation and analysis of coal and other related samples in accordance with the appropriate international standards.
Successful candidate will be responsible but not limited to:
- Timely and quality sampling, preparation and analysis of samples.
- Ensure that correct procedures are utilised in all aspects of sampling, recording, preparation, analysis, storage and reporting.
- Assist with the preventative maintenance of all preparation and laboratory equipment.
- To ensure accuracy, precision and traceability of prepared samples.
- Assist with the calibration of all preparation and laboratory equipment.
- Follow routine and non-routine sampling instructions from the Supervisor.
- The ability to use basic CCLAS to carry out the booking in of samples and analysis.
