Want to make an impact in our stores for our customers? A new opportunity is available to join the Fresh Replenishment (short-life) team within the National Supply Chain department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a fixed term contract ending June 2025.
As a Supply Chain Technician, you will drive the coordination of stock replenishment through our Distribution Centres to stores and our valuable customers. With an eye for continuous improvement, increasing the availability and handling of stock, we are looking for a proactive individual with a robust understanding of an agile and fast-paced FMCG environment.
What does the role look like?
- Provide timely and accurate information related to the status of freight movement
- Maintenance of various supply chain matrixes, templates and spreadsheets
- Accurately forecast inventory requirements to ensure sufficient stock to service our stores
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to collate accurate information and data
- Build and maintain the relationship with freight carriers and external stakeholders
- Analyse discrepancies and quality issues while partnering with stakeholders to provide solutions
- Handle fair negotiations with external service providers that have favourable terms
