We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets
- Monitor and report on financial performance, including variance analysis and key performance indicators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Manage budgeting and forecasting activities, including revenue projections and expense planning
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or other relevant professional certification is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, including GAAP
- Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and modeling
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
