Job Description KPMG’s Tax Transformation and Managed Service business aims to help clients transform and streamline their tax operations. The BEPS 2.0 Pillar Two global minimum tax rules are expected to impact a broad range of multinational groups both in Australia and globally.  With a number of groups seeking to assess the impact and plan for implementation of these international tax changes, there is a need for a manager to lead delivery of impact assessments and data and compliance projects for clients. Your Opportunity As an International Tax Manager  / Senior Consultant at KPMG Australia, you will be part of a globally connected network of professionals working with multinational organisations to provide commercially focused advice on cross-border tax matters. You will help companies manage the complexities of multiple tax systems and regulations around the world while being part of a dynamic and highly skilled team. In this role you will:Advise on and manage the tax implications relating to cross-border arrangements, structures and transactions.Assist our clients in understanding the tax impact to their existing business structure arising from cross-border mergers & acquisitions, international expansions, and restructures and cross-border financing and refinancing.Assist our clients in addressing law changes arising both from the Australian Government’s multinational tax measures as well as Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s BEPS Action Plans (in particular, the Pillar Two global minimum tax rules).Collaborate with other tax professionals and specialists in other areas of taxation to provide a complete, multi-disciplined perspective to any tax challenge. To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:Proven experience in corporate or international tax, preferably in a professional services environment or an in-house role.Strong understanding of Australian tax legislation, case law and Australian Taxation Office practice.Ability to manage global and local teams to deliver fully integrated tax advice to our clients.An understanding of accounting, tax-effect accounting and excel skills is an advantage (for work on the Pillar Two global minimum tax).Qualifications Bachelor degree in Commerce or Law (or other bachelor degrees combined with suitable work experience)Additional Information KPMG is a professional services firm with global outreach and deep sector experience.
