The Purpose:
You will be taking on a 12-month role as a Product Manager for Retail Payments within our Retail Payments team. You will be responsible managing products and services across its lifecycles within the Retail Payments portfolio. This involves product management and performance monitoring of debit card issuing, channel enablement and upcoming retail products. You will also collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for product scaling adoption, development and future enhancements. You will support product management activities with our customers and end users to extend AP+ products and services to drive increased transaction volume, revenue streams and market share.
You will be responsible for:
- Lead end-to-end coordination of action plans for Retail Payment products through the full product lifecycle, driving transaction growth and enhancing customer experiences.
- Assist with driving product adoption and usage including working with the AP+ Marketing team to develop collateral for Retail Payments portfolio.
- Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with AP+ Strategy.
- Develop and monitor appropriate reports and dashboards for product performance.
- Undertake analysis of Retail Payments products and services using product intelligence, market research and business data.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of Retail Payments products and services to facilitate the scaling and management of our products and services.
- Support prioritisation of new ideas and initiatives for Retail Payments product development that the message is effectively conveyed.
- Work with Compliance and Certification teams to manage product lifecycle and compliance activities.
- Engage with key external stakeholders (e.g. customers, industry bodies, and service providers) as required and in conjunction with other key AP+ representatives on specific topics or issues relating to your product portfolio.
- Manage inbound inquiries and interest from third party organisations.
- Work with other parts of the AP+ organisation to explore and execute on opportunities to integrate with other AP+ capabilities.
In order for you to be successful in the role, you’ll have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in product management.
- Demonstrable experience in positive stakeholder management and sound relationship management of third parties.
- A track record delivering, scaling, growing and retiring a portfolio of B2B products in market.
- Experience in managing a diverse product portfolio and sound understanding of product strategy and product development.
- Demonstrated experience analysing and interpreting product, market and financial information and make fact-based recommendations.
- Experience analysing customer insights and determining future research needs to inform project / product development.
- Specific payments or card knowledge and experience.
- Understanding of end-to-end payments network across the entire value chain.
