Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator supports the Project Management Office with the planning and fit out of TOMRA Reverse Vending Bulk Depots (RVBD) in NSW, to ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating project documentation, monitoring project progress and co-ordinating communications to the wider project team. This position will play a key role in assessing proposed sites for safety, functionality and certifying that they meet the correct site requirements for business needs and for building certification – working with architects and external consultants.
A key element of this role is stakeholder management, including, liaising with vendors, contractors, local councils, consultants, and internal stakeholders within the Operations department. The Project Coordinator will also assist the Project Manager by providing on the ground support with the progression of projects and mobilisation of installations.
This is a fixed term contract role until Feburary 2025
Some other duties the Project Coordinator may perform:
- Work with the Project Manager and Property Agents to ensure Site Assessment Reports are circulated and reviewed in a timely manner, collating and actioning feedback received from the wider team
- Conduct site visits when required
- Project Admin - Meeting Minutes, Site Assessment Reports, safety documents, Town Planning applications/permits, Certification, process invoices, effective handover to Contracts and Operations team, O & M manuals
- Contract Admin – obtain and collate quotes, prepare contracts, review progress claims, prepare tender reports,
- Reporting - Coordination of project updates to wider project team, high level status reporting, escalation reports
- Stakeholder Management – seek and clarify information between stakeholders, assist in resolving technical and non-technical project issues, effectively and professionally foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in managing contractors to ensure they are working safely, efficiently and to budget
- Perform additional tasks as reasonably requested by the PMO
- Travel across NSW as required
