Chill, a progressive temperature-controlled logistics agency in Australia, is seeking a Warehouse Storeperson to join our team. With over two decades of experience, Chill is a national powerhouse in the FMCG industry, providing a wide range of services, including promotional logistics, mobile refrigeration, cold and dry storage, stock management, customised vehicle builds, and transport services. As a Warehouse Storeperson at Chill, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently control and manage inventory within the warehouse
- Ensure accurate and timely order picking and packing
- Receive, check, and store incoming goods, ensuring they are properly labelled and stored in the appropriate locations
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile any discrepancies
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as manual and electric pallet jacks
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve warehouse objectives and meet client expectations
- Prior experience working as a storeperson in a warehouse setting
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures
- Proficient in using warehouse equipment, such as manual and electric pallet jacks
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects safely and repeatedly
- LF/LO Forklift licence (advantageous)
- Minimum 40 hours, 5 days a week
