Personal Injury Litigation Lawyer for boutique private practice firm Your new company Boutique compensation lawyers focussed on providing high quality legal services in specialist areas such as dust diseases, personal injury claims, institutional abuse, and wills & estates. Your new role This newly created role is litigation focussed within a sub-set of personal injury law for plaintiff clients. You will need to understand the litigation process and will be doing everything from research and client conferences, to drafting affidavits and Court documents, reading notes and records, and preparing for Court. You will be working on around 10-15 matters at any one time with a fast turnaround of 3-6 months. The practice is predominantly NSW based but they have a presence in Victoria, and smaller practices in QLD, WA, and South Australia. What you'll need to succeed Admitted to practice as a Lawyer in NSW Current NSW practising certificate Minimum 1-3+ years PQE in litigation Personal injury experience preferred and an interest in plaintiff work Patience and compassion when interacting with clients Willingness to learn and develop skills in a unique area of personal injury law What you'll get in return You will be joining a boutique firm with a specialised practice, and a friendly small team environment. This is a very hands-on role, and the successful candidate will gain excellent experience in a unique area of personal injury law, undertaking some really great work in this area. They are a busy team, and the role would suit a junior lawyer who is willing to learn and is keen to be involved in decisions and processes. You will be fully supported, working closely with a Partner for the first 12 months until ready to run your own files and engage with your own practice.
